Ticket prices for Indian films have risen sharply recently, and the trend has not slowed down so far.
During such a rise, the manufacturers of Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have reportedly decided to keep ticket prices low.
This would be a relief for the average person, as it has become more difficult to watch movies in theatres with families at such expensive ticket prices.
For strangers, the film is a sequel to the 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiya, which was a success and enjoys a massive fan to this day.

The upcoming film will be directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.
There has been a lot of hype around the film, and it is expected to be reflected in ticket sales.
Bookings for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were recently opened, and the selling price has been relatively low compared to the volume currently running in the market.
According to the Pinkvilla report, Cinepolis Andheri sells tickets for 180 ₹, which is very low compared to KGF: Chapter 2 prices were around 300 ₹ per ticket.
During and after the pandemic, the average price of PVR Andher tickets was around 180, but Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 numbers are currently 110 ₹.
The same trend applied to RRR and Doctor Strange 2, both of which sold tickets at almost double the price of the Bhool above Bhulaiya.

A source close to the same publication now believes this is the strategic approach of Bhushan Kumari and the team.
“After several meetings and rounds of discussions, producers Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and distributor Anil Thadani decided to abandon the premium pricing strategy.
The idea is to get more and more people back to the cinema by keeping things as basic as they are.” the source told Pinkvilla.
The same source said how the pricing of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 can be beneficial:
“There is enough noise around the film and the team wanted to keep it in the audience’s mind.
They believe that reasonable pricing will allow more visitors and faster word of mouth in return.
